Peragen's highly scaleable technology (US patent 7,012,154) produces an aqueous solution of peracetic acid (aq-PAA™ - or essentially “PAA-in-water”), while achieving nearly 100% conversion of the raw materials to PAA. (aq-PAA™ Product)
In essence, we’ve taken what has widely been recognized as a ‘green’ alternative to chlorine (e.g, PAA is an OMRI-approved disinfectant) and made it ‘greener’ – by removing the impurities present in equilibrium grades of PAA while, at the same time, lowering PAA production costs. (aq-PAA™ Benefits)
With the commissioning of our first production plant (aq-PAA™ Generators), we are now able to support your development project through its pilot stages and into commercialization, and then provide you with the option of aq-PAA™ that’s either delivered to your plant or produced at your site.
